I went to mass today at the cathedral downtown. Before the service, we prayed the rosary, which was a precious meditative experience. In the Cathedral I always feel warm and safe and at peace. I took these pictures of my church a couple of years ago. This is the oldest church in Austin. It's beautiful. They worked restoring it for 7 years or so. This was my church before I left Austin, and I'm SO happy to be back in it! It's a bubble of serenity for me...
